How does it works a plate filter ?

First of all, you need to choose the types of pads (or papers) to use (among many types) depending on the type of filtration you want to carry out.
Filtration is usually divided into "coarse", "polishing" and "sterilizing" and on the basis of this the pads/papers of a specific weight and/or porosity are chosen.

The first operation consists in connecting the suction and delivery pipes to the two hose fittings.
The pads/papers must be humidified before use.
A filter pad and 1 or 2 papers are inserted for every two plates; once the operation is finished, tighten the two rear handwheels to tighten the plates well (with pads and/or papers inserted).
The electric pump is connected to the electricity and the start button of the electric pump is activated.
The plate filter begins to suck the liquid that passes from the pump to the filtering part (plates and pads/papers) and then come out filtered/cleaned from the outlet pipe.
